An adaption of my 10,000 word thesis Book as Art: Inspiring the Future Bibliophile which explores the future of the physical book as a collectible object of art and design from historical, psychological, and cultural perspectives. I drew inspiration from traditional books and the Gutenberg Bible to reimagine their classic features with a modern twist. A leather embossed cover is replaced by an ornate papercut jacket. It includes decorative title pages and twenty illuminated drop caps to mark the beginning of sections.
