A redeux of the nearly year old cover art for Armies of the Silver Mage in anticipation of becoming a polished, printed, and published book soon.
The revamp took approximately 30 minutes to clean up and refine. Here's a list of the changes:
- added some shadows to the underside of the crystal
- enlarged and elongated the rays vertically and lightened the glow
- added a drop shadow to the sword and additional emboss
- added a grunge texture to the overall image in order to lessen the overly digitized feel
- made the text look more dynamic without overcomplicating the look of the cover by adding a drop shadow and embossed effect
