V is for Villains: Veronica Jade
Costume Construction for Winter Stage Costume
Began working on this piece in January 2012 for the keyboardist and female vocalist of the band V is for Villains. She had an idea of what she wanted, which I tweaked and then constructed for her. It was completed at the beginning of March 2012.

The pieces consist of: a leather bolero with the band's logo cut out in the back, a cotton dress with stretch lace accents and overskirt, leather belt, stretch lace gloves, leather wrist cuff, and altered vintage gloves.

The bolero pattern was draped on an adjustable mannequin. The dress was a standard pattern (McCall's 6503) to which I added a lining and flat patterned a puff sleeve for. Fingerless gloves and belt were flat patterned.

Alterations will be made to this outfit soon.
