Many pack designs communicate doubtful promises:  tasty, homemade, low fat, and so on. But always seem to omite something, for example that is also higher in salt, higher in sugar, or have many preservatives. It's time we have what matters to us in front of a pack: to hero the nutritional values and ingredients.

Most people buy products that are appealing to the eye. I want to offer a product that is appealing to health and wellbeing. Nowadays most people are concern about what to put into their bodies. Food is much more than a moment of satisfaction, it's how our body gets its energy to live life fully. Many people are starting to demand products that can increase their health and energy, and this is possible to see just by taking a closer look on how many new products with healthy claims are available
in the supermarkets.

I choose to work on products such as granola, energy bar and bread, because these usually are perceived as healthy products, but in reality most of them aren't. "Not a pretty pack" is a range of products that are proud to have a honest pack. These packs contain only useful information, also about how to judge if a product is really healthy or not.

It's easy to make a beautiful pack for any brand. But what are you really selling? And what are you actually consuming ?
This project is a way of making people stop for a second and think about their daily choices.
