Irish soccer doesn't do simple!
At the time this campaign went live across press, radio and digital, the Irish football squad and their fans were in a precarious position. They'd gotten there by literally stealing results with the last kick of the game and they needed all the 'never-say-die' mentality they had left in the tank. Although their position looked hopeless, the governing body needed to get fans into the stadium to push them on. So we created a playful tone that highlighted that Ireland had been in this position many, many times before and prevailed. The campaign led to a huge increase in sales and the boys in green did it the hard way once again and won after coming through a playoff!
