Children of Uganda is a non-profit dedicated to giving a hand up to children and women in need in Uganda. They needed a robust website to reflect the success of their powerful aid programs as well as highlight their bi-yearly Tour of Light.
I worked with Pamela Esposito Design to develop a full communications strategy and web design that transformed the tone and communications approach for the client so it was very friendly, engaging and modern. I wrote the copy for the website to highlight the engaging tone and success-oriented focus of the new strategy.
Pam provided the colorful, inviting design, while I designed occassional subpages to reflect her direction.

I custom built the Wordpress site to Pam's specs using Headway framework. I built an ecommerce shop for their merchandise. I also integrated a third-party donation site that the client wanted to continue using.
The response to the site has been overwhelmingly positive. One new board member commented that the site is so impressive it looks like Children of Uganda is a million dollar non-profit.
