Type by ABC III

Third showcase of some of my recent ink and watercolor work for personal projects and promotional purposes.
Most of these are daily type work I did during November to December 2015.

Havaianas

Worked on a variety of materials for my design collaboration with Havaianas, including social media posts about the collection. You can read more about the project here.

Invites sent out for the Filipinas launch. This was based on the original artwork I designed for the flip flops.

Teaser post for the collection. Lakbay is "travel" in Filipino.

This was also used as a poster for the collaborative workshop I had with other artists. Read more about the workshop here.

I also took over Havaianas' Instagram account for a day, and did some content and artworks for them (below).

Letters from ABC

Hand lettered a few statements for teasers and promotional purposes for Letters from ABC, a set of alphabet postcards I designed (published by Summit Books).

Some of my work in progress during the time I painted the artworks.

Tropicana Frutz

Hand lettered artwork for my ambassadorship with Tropicana Frutz for a blog post on new discoveries.

Design*Sponge

My studio was featured on Design*Sponge recently (click here to view), and they asked me to hand letter / draw a statement about my favorite part of the room.

Candy TV / Candy Magazine

I did a quick timelapse for a feature on Candy TV's Everything Handmade series. You can read about my interview here.

Apart from that, I was tasked to design and style a hand lettered piece for the December issue on the Postcard column,

which is located at the last page of the magazine in print.

Personal Work

Sneaked in a bit of personal work for friends and myself on downtime days.

Above: A gift for a friend. Her favorite quote was Treat Yo Self so i played around with the words and made it a bit more vintage-looking by adding my favorite swirl pattern.

Below: I was having a tough week that week so I hand lettered this quote I found on The Artidote.
