A college student, Michael “Mike” Angeleri has a passion for electronic dance music (EDM) and enjoys attending events such as the Moonrise Festival. Michael Angeleri’s favorite EDM artists include Armin Van Buuren, Tommy Trash, and Kaskade. A Chicago-born DJ, record store owner, and producer, Ryan Raddon (known as Kaskade) has a presence on the music scene extending more than a decade.
Based in San Francisco, Kaskade is a former skateboarder with a fervent belief in the power of music to uplift large numbers of people. He performs in front of a giant- sized LED screen that has hypnotic images synched to his beats, while strobe lights extend the visual experience out into the crowd. Kaskade describes his aim as one of enabling audience members to lose themselves in “big, grand, euphoric moments.” In addition to his own chart-topping albums, such as Fire & Ice, Kaskade has remixed songs for some of pop’s biggest stars, including Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.
