EVENT: INK & PIXELS 2015
ART DIRECTION: KATE LAWLESS, COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR
Ink & Pixels is an annual event held by AIGA Baltimore that brings together educators, design professionals, and students to share their knowledge and passion for design. Ink & Pixels primarily focuses on assisting both students and recent graduates in their career in design by having their professional portfolios reviewed by some of the most prominent and talented local designers. For this event, I was asked to create the logo and the accompanying marketing materials. I worked with Kate Lawless, AIGA Communications Chair, to implement different shapes and colors to represent the different kinds of designers that make up the entire AIGA community. The logo for the event was hand-drawn by me and supported with Avenir type. The marketing materials included an event poster, room signs, and badges for Board Members, Volunteers, Portfolio Reviewers, Event Speakers, and Students.
