Every year the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) holds a global conference; this year it took place in Berlin, Germany. I had the great pleasure to develop the branding project for this incredible and huge event. Adhering to the notions of credibility and integrity, I used minimalist techniques to print the look and feel of the city, but while capturing the essence of the event theme of rethinking the journey of knowledge. In this case, I used elements that would leave the brain intrigued with the unconventional ways of travel. The balloon air icon caught many people’s attention as a surprise item, a rhetorical technique that embodies the world of hospitality and travel.
