This is a winner project of Turgutreis Government Sea Vehicle Design Contest 2011 in Turkey.
The aim is in this project for enhancing the human activity in a way of enviromental, aesthetic, functional and
also economical.
Main subject is to make an economic human powered sea vehicle.
I made this one with an inspiration of the rowing machines in the fitness centers.
It works with a propeller which is connected to a shift that also supported by 2 ''Balance Wheels''
at the top of the canoe. Pulling a chained handle powers the balance wheels and also rotates the
propeller shaft. Afterwards balance wheels can support the rotation smoothly for a while in a
limited of time.
For steering the canoe; it can be done by the lockable foot pedals which is connected to rudder.
