Nursing School Pin Illustration
I was asked to do a rendering of a pin graduating nurses would have received when they graduated. All they had was a very rough black and white illustration that had been copied and copied and copied. For the graduating class of 62’s 50th anniversary celebration, I was approached about doing a better recreation of the pin. Tracking down a clear example of the old City of Hamilton crest was quite an adventure, but I found one in the end. I can see things I would like to improve, but they were delighted with it, and I guess that is what counts.
This was what I was given to work from.
And this is what I ended up with. I can see things I want to change, but time ran out.
