As part of the Year of Irish Design 2015, Tourism Ireland commissioned a set of short films exploring the idea that design creates a sense of place. 

 

This second film looks at design in and around Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. Exploring the connection between people, product and place in the natural landscape along the west coast of Ireland this film is an opportunity to take a fresh perspective on what design is and can do, and it's relationship to the environment. 

 

An exciting, energetic, and enticing road trip packed full of designs and inspiration. It's a film that captures the moment and celebrates the stories - of both the stunning landscapes and the [wide range of] design products/practices that are drawn from the place.
