Since becoming a mother in 2014 I have been developing new work inspired by the image of the parent. As the art scene moves on I often feel on the outside with most of my time being taken up with domestic and caring duties. However I continue to use intervention, as it is a quick way to make visual performance work with maximum impact. As a mother the action I repeat most is picking up objects off the floor in a never-ending continual cycle, which was reflected in my performance that was intervened around different areas at both events.
