This is a small A5 book that I made for a University Project at the start of the Third Year. We were tasked to create an object that would advertise ourselves if we sent it off to an agency. The idea was to create an object that would show off our skills whilst also keep their interest enough for them to not just throw it away. I wanted to make a book on the Ampersand because I have a small obssession with it. I did a lot of research on the history and evolution of the Ampersand, also looking at the many different variations that exist. I also created decorative end papers using some of the ampersands from the 'Poetica Ampersands' font. I bound the book myself, and the cover has gold foil blocking on it. It comes in a slip case with a golden ribbon that slides the book out when you pull it.
