Freak Show 2014

A gallery show like never seen before; that was the goal of the Graphic Design graduating class of 2014. For decades, Ringling College of Art + Design seniors have held exhibitions of their culminating works by hanging framed pieces along white gallery walls, with name tags, resumes and portfolios.
Instead, we gave each classmate the room to be as expressive and unique as possible. “Freak Show” was created, as a gallery space where every one could be themselves within designated spaces, visually brought together by a quirky branding identity. Marketing efforts involved social media hype and guerrilla pieces across campus, merchandise, a responsive website with artist bios, and a yearbook - all completed through volunteer student collaboration.
