The art and design of electronic music has long been a massive inspiration to me with its experimental and iconic use of strange, beautiful and expressive typography and imagery. It may even be the single most influential source that drove me to become a designer in the first place.

This project features work for (re)chicago, a dj and underground dance music initiative developed for promotion company Volatl. The (re)chicago logo is meant to evoke images of the Chicago skyline, of its iconic "El" train system and the spinning of records. The poster and flyer package for (re)chicago has been layed out in a square format to mimic a record sleeve, even going so far as to be 12 inches by 12 inches in the case of the poster.
This project also features work for halocline, my personal dj pseudonym. This includes the logo and two cover art samples.
