The Anthology of Roller Derby in the Bay Area
This book tells the story of women's flat track roller derby as an event, as a sport, and from the perspectives of the skaters. I spent a few months traveling around the bay area observing teams and interviewed dozens of women to compete this book. Inspiration was found in the materials that make up the track which is a taped outline over a generously worn surface.
