The Darkest Corner
The Ruin of Obsession in the Films of Darren Aronofsky

The filmography of Darren Aronofsky follows characters, who are driven by obsession, down a destructive path. To bring this journey to life photography depicting what someone along this downward spiral might encounter with images of descending escalators and steps acting as the heroes. In order to portray obsession I studied geometry patterns and created four different ones to be used as graphic elements throughout the project.
