Nike Jordan Brand - CP3K/AJ3K

CP3K / AJ3K (2011)
Chris Paul's forth signature shoe release was about "Quick", so we developed a rapid-fire, side-scrolling video game for both mobile and web platforms. Introduced by a cinematic, 3-D trailer, the goal was to use skill and quickness to complete the nine unique levels in the best times possible. A “ghost mode” character let players compete against their own top scores or challenge global leaderboards and friends through Facebook. Detailed JordanCP3.IV shoe feature and benefit information was presented in the game’s navigation console.

The game was so successful (50K downloads in a few weeks), that the Jordan requested a version incorporating all three of it's basketball superstars. AJ3K not only let consumers play as their favorite Jordan Athlete but was a pivotal component of the brand's 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend presence, which included full-sized arcade and playable building-high projections of the game.

I was part of the core concept team, offered creative direction and was the writer. Yes, there are still words involved in games.
