Mix and match
Mezcla is the Spanish word for “mix” or “blend.” This small book brings together quotes from one of the most influential architects in the world with some of the most iconic architecture in Madrid and Barcelona. The idea of blending is also expanded by making each spread foldable, revealing more about the image and also allowing different juxtapositions to occur. This mélange creates new meanings and textures as the reader controls which pages remain folded.
