Mini island

The repetitive elements of my creations are the changed views and unexpected perspectives. Even though most of the symmetries and geometric forms recur in my series, the pieces of the Mini Islands also fit right into this continuously interconnected, and - in some elements - repetitive research.

The "secret" of these photos is that the lake Balaton, which has been the place of relaxation and recreation since I was a child, has these algea covered rocks on it’s shore, which are enlarged in the pictures. They are transformed into small universes, expanding to monumental islands in the nest of mysterious blueness. These often unrecognized – for some, even insignificant - boulders reveal thousands of colors and details, showing their new faces.

Although I stepped out of the urban environment, hidden realities, undiscovered areas are still with me, reflected in the Mini Island series.
