The medicare annual enrollment period is an important time for health insurance company Humana. As part of their 2011 campaign they came to Critical Mass looking for ways to engage both retirement-aged consumers and their caregivers. My roll was to design a facebook application that made it easy for people to celebrate their family members. This was accomplished with a family tree builder which pulled a user's relationships from their facebook profiles and allowed them to enter the names and relations of people not on facebook. Once all the names were entered a tree was generated that could be posted to the user's wall, shared via email and/or printed and shared.
The family tree builder was a hugely successful campaign element for Humana Medicare and generated 5,946 likes for their facebook page.
