Here's a  fun logo I made for my friend who is a barber and runs an instragram account dedicated to showcasing traditional men's hairstyles and the barbers who cut them. I drew inspiration from typography and signage of the 50s and 60s since that's when the men's Pompadour hairstyle rose in popularity. I wanted to avoid commonly used imagery like shears, combs, barber poles, etc. and make something that successfully conveyed the same feeling and message without being too obvious. Here is the end result.
