Seventy Seven Brand Identity Pitch

This is a brand identity I made and pitched for a upscale streetwear and menswear boutique opening in South Florida. The store will offer a very elevated experience to its shoppers when it opens and I wanted the identity to help in conveying that to the consumer. Things like appointment-only private shopping experiences will be offered at the store, customers will be offered champagne and whiskey while they shop, follow-up calls will be made by associates to ask shoppers how their experience was and how they're enjoying their clothes.

Esthetically, I drew inspiration from high fashion brand identities like Hermès, Tiffany & Co, Goyard, and Louis Vuitton. I wanted to rely on sharp looking typography as the foundation and incorporate a simple, strong mark to accompany the type. I developed a family of logo variations for different applications, made a pattern derived from the mark to use across different collateral, and I mocked up some different print pieces in an effort to show the client how the brand identity might look in different mediums. Unfortunately this identity was not selected by the client and we went in a different direction but it was my favorite of what I submitted so I wanted to share it.
