I was asked, along with 4 other students, to design and produce a termly newsletter for my degree pathway. We needed a format that was easy to edit and also cheap and quick to produce so I designed a layout with a grungy, cut and paste feel to it to reflect our first year's emphasis on the handmade, rather than the digital. The format was that of a broadsheet that folded up into an envelope which could be sealed with a sticker or a wax seal, and posted home to the students parents to update them on their progress. The broadsheet was designed so 2 could be screen printed onto a coloured sheet of A2 paper at a time.
