Sirena / Mermaid
All in one spoon and knife. Analysingthe functions of a spoon and knife I came to realise that they are never used at the same time, since liquid is not cut. Hence the redundancy of having three basic elements in all cutleries, and being able to reduceit to two. On one hand we have a new object which is at the same time very common, but on the other hand it is very surprising, since it has a double function issues such as saving materials or production are at stake.
Revisiting everyday objects, and questioning its existence are issues behind this work. Redundancy is clearly seen, offering the possibility of minimising two objects in one.
The project, a fusion, empowers the object with two functions.
