Neceser / WCase

A found suitcase with un unknown history, use, and personality. It was transformed
into a shelf for the bathroom. It offers the opportunity to think about intimacy. While travelling the hostile environment forces you into a dialogue. You are exposed to the surrounding conditions which pushes you to adapt to the ongoing reality and discharge all that is superfluous. The interior, of the hard protective shell, is an ecstatic refuge. While the exterior is in constant movement witnessing the changing landscape, inside nothing changes. This situation is altered when the suitcase is in the toilet, here is when it enters the topsy turvy realm, where everything is upside down. Nothing is what it seems.

The suitcase moves from the inside to the exterior, there is an exchange of planes and realities: interior journey. This time the hostile exterior is toilet: which, in turn, offers intimacy, security, and overwhelming security.

The transformation in the use is far from total. The suitcase maintains its physical structure unaltered though endless possibilities, its function is altered, improved and extended – though returning to the original situation is always available.
