Taiheiyo Kensha is a Japanese Akita kennel located in Southern California. The name translates from Japanese to "Pacific Kennel". My process for branding a product starts with designing the logo, then I build brand around it.
The client requested a logo and branding system that was geometric, modern, but still family friendly. I kept in mind about the personality of the breed and the ocean water. The Japanese Akita is a very prideful, stoic, and intelligent breed.
The biggest tangible is the Puppy Packet. This will go home with every new puppy from Taiheiyo Kensha. The inside contains the contract, a how-to guide for Puppy, a puppy survey, Puppy's photos, and so forth.
