Forthis song project, we were asked to create a music video of sorts using a clipof the song of our choosing. Using Adobe Flash, we were only able to usetypography in motion, as well as very simplistic shapes.
Iwas immediately drawn to “Home” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros,because it offers so much imagery and descriptive language. I wanted the wordsof the song to almost act as images of what they represent. In order to dothis, I really emphasized using accurate motion and animation, such as the word“boat” bouncing across the waves of the word “moat.”
