Shmoo's Woodfired Kitchen
The goal of this site was to show web presence for a new business who were not yet ready to spend big bucks on a site but wanted to show clients that they were moderately established. I wanted it to work as a basic one pager but also lay down the foundations for a more sophisticated site, designed to a bootstrap grid, it could evolve into a responsive, parallax site further down the line when the client was ready to invest more money in it.
For the logo the client asked me to bring together the fruit of life symbol that suggests the shape of a pizza, I paired that with a hand written style typeface that I find simple and friendly. As well as appealing to a bride-to-be crowd I wanted the logo to represent Shmoo's personality which is casual, approachable and green.

In harmony with the ID I chose a similar playful typeface for the site, balanced with mature, earthy colours (aubergine, asparagus).
