Wedding Stationery
The stationery set should reflect the occasion and the client. This wedding is taking place during the summer months in the beautiful english countryside. I designed the set with these qualities in mind; rustic, practical, simple, charming, jolly, elegant.
The illustrations are bespoke, the drawing of the town hall is actually the town hall where they'll be wed, the characters look like the couple etc. The simple lines are frisky, the suggestion of movement by the couple dancing brings energy and excitement for the event and the minimal use of colour is ideal for printing on a budget.
The style of illustration I used here is heavily influenced by the work of Nicholas John Frith and Quentin Blake.
