Aromas de Artajo is a collection of extra virgin olive oils extracted from arbequina olives, and presented with a special flavour-adjustment kit. It was the need to address a problem raised by customers that gave rise to this intriguing collection of flavoured oils. Some flavoured oils were already on the market, but the herbs in them tended to oxidise after a few weeks. It was clear that the oil and the herbs needed to be kept separate until they reached the consumer.
The distinguishing feature of this product is that the consumer is able to choose the exact moment to flavour the extra virgin olive oil. This means that the oil can never lose its properties through oxidisation, unlike those sold with the herbs already added. Consumers can decide just when to add the sachet of aromatic herbs which has a dropper in the lid and is sold together with the oil. In this way they obtain a freshly-made dressing with the full flavour and properties of extra virgin olive oil and a special touch of aromatic herbs that will enhance any of their dishes. Each of the Aromas de Artajo collection is designed with a particular type of dish in mind.
