Kangnam Day & Night Display Typeface
Due to a lack of good weboptimized typefaces the display font »Kangnam Day & Night« emerged for my own website. The starting point was the form of the logo which was the model for the letter »I« and »O« and at the same for the numbers one and zero.
Inspired by the Kangnam district in Seoul two typefaces were developed, imitating the local change from day to night. During the day, young people are hanging around in cafes or go shopping, at night Kangnam turns to a fashion show in which young people swarm out into the night life and present themselves and their style.
