Baseado no livro homónimo de Agatha Christie, este projecto começou por ser uma série de exercícios fotográficos de auto-retratos. A exploração do tema continuou, mas usando a ilustração - desenhar permitiu que nem a cor nem a mancha interferissem com a mensagem.
Cada trabalho encerra a sua própria história, mas o fio temático que os liga permite que possam ser vistos como um todo. Outros desenhos foram surgindo, que não auto-retratos, assim complementando as narrativas.
Matar é fácil - pequenas histórias policiais em auto-retratos, pretende ser uma reflexão, assumidamente sombria, acerca da nossa fragilidade e também da escolha, provavelmente tão domesticada que se tornou inconsciente, de nas vicissitudes mais desesperantes, não tomarmos o caminho mais fácil.

Based on the homonym book of Agatha Christie, this project began as a series of photographic exercises of self portraits. The thematic exploration continued, but with the use of illustration – drawing permitted that neither color or blur intervened with the message.
Each work has its own story, but the thematic thread that binds them together, permits that they are seen as a whole. Other drawings emerged, that are not self portraits, but complement the narrative.
“Murder is easy – small crime storys in self portraits”, intends to be a gloomy reflexion about our frailty e also about the choice, probably so tamed that it is unconscious, of not taking the easy road when desperate.
