Monolit
The object draws inspiration from colour and forms of fossilized oak wood, which at the age of 3500 -3200 years, has a specific and decorative colour transition effect (german: verlauf): from black decomposed bark on the outside, to the copper trunk core. Basically, it's a blown-up detail of this type of wood.
