Texture is open every week on Wednesday and Friday through Sunday and they have a different theme for each weeknight. Even though they only had to close for one night in between licenses they wanted a new look for the nightclub. After some new coats of paint and drink specials it was time to revamp the nightly theme parties!

One of my clients had their operating license denied renewal this summer by the city of Milwaukee and after a short court case "the court concluded that the city’s actions were contrary to law, arbitrary, oppressive, and unreasonable." Wow.
Texture is open every week on Wednesday and Friday through Sunday and they have a different theme for each weeknight. Even though they only had to close for one night in between licenses they wanted a new look for the nightclub. After some new coats of paint and drink specials it was time to revamp the nightly theme parties!
The basic text was rendered as 3d in Adobe Illustrator, after that most of the work was done using Photoshop. Sundays had an alternating DJ schedule so we created two versions of the flyer for social media.
Special thanks to Milwaukee model Nikole Milan (http://www.nikolemilan.com/) and Texture nightclub's new policy of using local models for their promotions! They like the idea of using people who have actually visited the bar in their advertising instead of NY or LA models that don't fit into the local scene.
The final poster is for a once-a-month party that is planned for the 1st Sunday of each month with guest DJs and special performances. So why not finish off with the Milwaukee skyline at night looking in from the lake?
