An Evening with Bob Log III

The most rock 'n' roll and openminded guy you never met!
Robert Logan Reynolds III, known as Bob Log III, is an American (Tucson, AZ) slide guitar one-man band. During performances, he plays old Silvertone archtop guitars, wears a full body human cannonball suit, and a motorcycle helmet wired to a telephone receiver, which allows him to devote his hands and feet to guitar and drums. The spectacle has been described as a blues punk dance party - the kind of in-your-face mood you'd get at a Death From Above 1979 or Andrew W.K. gig.
During shows, he barely sees anything. This is in part because of the helmet, but mainly because all his focus is on the various instruments he's playing. There is no past nor future, the only existing moment in his mind is the present. If he wants to see what's happening, he really has to concentrate to get his eyes back into function. In fact, he wishes he could see more of the crowd going wild, but he's happy to know that he could continue to tour even if he went blind for some reason.
"Koalas are the coolest animals ever; all they do is eat leaves. All day long, they eat, hydrate and get high with those leaves! Plus, they all have chlamydia!"
He's not exactly sure if the Prime Minister of Australia is a total asshole, but he's confident that the Queen of England shouldn't appear on the banknotes there, especially considering she kinda shows a weird mouth and a unibrow.
"Attracting crowds of both metalheads and rednecks respecting each other is really cool!"
[About Australia] A beach with killer worms, jellyfishes and crocodiles is totally a no-go.
Since he was recommended one by accident, he prefers gay hotels because their towels are fluffier and they have more choices of soap. Locking his door is mandatory though.
"Because you just never know!"
He rarely stays more that one night in the same city.
The last time it happened in Canada, it was in Rouyn-Noranda. To this day, it's still impossible for him to pronounce the town's name properly.
