A-line is a limited edition series of digital gicleé prints exploring a whimsical world in line. They are produced digitally making each print an original. Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art German Etching paper (310 gsm). An archival, natural white, textured paper that is wonderful to touch.

Spider Crab

PROCESS

The drawing is done three times using a reductive process. I start with a solid square of color and remove the areas that I want to be white.

The three drawings are placed on separate layers with the multiply mode applied. Then a background tone was painted and the line drawing was added on a new layer and multiplied.
