EDUCATION PROJECT: DESIGN YOUR VERTICAL CITY
Is it possible to design a complete city in the vertical direction? With that charge, 700 secondary school students (13 to 15 years) are creating their vertical city. What features or spaces do you need in a vertical city? And how do they relate to each other? Next to the architectural aspect is social an important theme as well. How do we live alongside each other in an ever diminishing space?
The graphic illustration had to inspire the children to think about the different spaces, food, water, recreation. We designed a combination between recognizable classic buildings and modern designs, new ways of transporation, new ways of growing food.
