POET-DSM creates sustainable, high performance biofuels. The international venture combines Poet’s ethanol distilling technology with Royal DSM’s knowledge of chemical engineering. This one component of a two-part mailing, announces the unveiling of Project Liberty. The first commercial scale cellulosic ethanol plant of it’s kind, Project Liberty utilizes biological waste to create fuel, reducing dependence on fossil fuels. The piece celebrates historic visionaries who persevered in spite of the challenges they faced.
