Lydie was 99 when she died, in April 2014. A few month before, she gave three dresses to her step-granddaughter, Lunah. One blue dress, one yellow dress, one pink dress. Lydie used to wear them when she was partying, somewhere between the 40s and the 60s.
In May, Lunah asked me to shoot her with the 3 dresses and I said yes, of course.
Those pictures were made with a mix of old and modern (Polaroid and digital camera, flash and tungsten lights, vintage and modern accessories).
