Alica Bakery emerges in Dubai as the first neighborhood bakery experience—a relaxed place where customers can enjoy freshly baked goods in the same open space where bakers work.

Through discussions and questionnaires, a clear picture of the client's inspiration, goals, and values was obtained. What stood out was their desire to inspire a sense of familiarity and real, human connections. It was intended to be a place where customers could enjoy their time slowly. Goals were then defined to guide the business strategy and design work:

1. Develop a trusted brand for hand-crafted foods, using high-quality, fresh organic ingredients. 2. Cultivate a relaxed atmosphere, positioning Alica as Dubai's first genuine neighborhood bakery experience. 3. Build a community around sustainable, organic local food, advocating for a slow living lifestyle.

The design journey embarked on these clear goals, to align Alica Bakery's visual identity with its strategic narrative.
This visual identity is inspired by Alica’s mellow and sustainable lifestyle. The act of stretching dough and its therapeutic sensations drive our creative exploration.

The typography based logo reflects the exclusive attention of the brand to what matters: the craft of baking. Smooth shapes inspire a mellow and calm lifestyle, while also represent dough being stretched during bread making. Its high contrast letters evoke a sense of flow and movement, which complete the brand concept with a touch of fresh, graceful energy. 

The tagline fits a purely informative purpose. For this reason it uses a different font that inspires a more welcoming and casual tone of voice. The logo was carefully designed to find perfect balance between elements and ensure maximum readability. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
