[OUTLOUD MACAU 2023] - “FEELING THE MOMENT” is my mural entry for @outloudmacau International street art festival 2023. The goal was to create a piece that is elegant, calming and cinematic. Inspired by the song “Feeling the moment” from the fifth studio album “Pushing the senses” (2005) by Welsh rock band @feederofficial . This mural is less intense compared with my other murals as I am on a quest of experimenting the balance between details and negative space within my work. “Capturing the moment” is the key and the mural depicts the moment of peacefulness as snow falls onto the snow leopard, as well as conveying a sense of solitude and calmness, a visualization of the inner emotions within oneself, whilst the arm is a visualization of the physical factor of oneself reaching out for the snow, flowers being a visual metaphor of one’s fragilities within. ⁣

Life is a continuous journey of the search for inner peace and comfort. Finding the balance in life while experiencing the struggles of being part of modern society. The immense stress that continues to accumulate daily, how our outer and inner self are constantly being torn apart. Rediscover the importance of maintaining your inner balance and continuing to feel for the world, yourself and your loved ones, while feeling and embracing every moment wholeheartedly. ⁣
