Orbotany

This self-intiated project was to design the branding and identity of new store that would sell terrariums. Aimed at young adults it would need to capture their interest and encourage them to grow plants, for the benefit of themselves and others. Terrariums are a popular garden style because they require little maintenance to flourish, yet have an endlessly elegant look.

The focus of the idea is miniature, and minute gardens. ‘A lot in a little’

The colour chosen reflects the bright and young audience, it also reflects the idea of plants, greenery and nature.
The typeface chosen is a round sans-sefif font, it is friendly, fun and invting, readable, and organic.

The starter kit contains an empty terrarium, a ‘how-to’ guide, a mini gardening set. It would also include a gift voucher, which would entitle the user to an orb of soil and an orb of charcoal and a plant. The kit is designed to help beginers, which would be level of the audience. The kit is packaged in a cardboard holder.

The How-To-Terrarium guide
The stores new website, which also allows the audience to order there new terrarium and plants online.
