This is a small series of photos I did, to explore weather effects with camera. The photos were taken on a quiet late-winter day, in Skagen, Denmark.
The foggy effect was achieved by breathing on the lens. The effect is great if there is a strong light source around I might add.
Again, breathing on the lens, to achieve a foggy effect.
The tree was photographed with a flash, making it very sharp, after which I shook the camera around in a general-snow-direction for about half a second, to get the turbulent effect at the top and bottom.
Just some trees at too high contrast and too long shutter time. Makes it look very dynamic and stormy.
Same style - too much shutter time and waving the camera in a generally snowy directon creates the snowfall-like lines in the picture. Looks pretty fierce.
High contrast and low shutter time. The sharp contours of the branches kind of look like ice crystals.
