BRANDING: Sacred Heart Minor Seminary

As a former student, designing Gozo’s Sacred Heart’s identity was a very welcome challenge. An identity like this has the potential to leave a lasting impression on students and its dedicated staff.

Together with the school’s management, we looked at previous versions to determine which elements to keep and which should gracefully evolve in this latest iteration of the brand identity. The goal was to create a modern, creative identity rooted in tradition. An evolution rather than an overhaul.

A brand identity is not just a logo and the changes made went beyond the brand mark. The name has now been streamlined, the wordmark features a custom-made typeface that draws aesthetic qualities from the brand mark, the motto now has a distinctive function and the identity now features a familiar yet refreshed colour palette.
