Unpolished is a collection of writings, reflections and affirmations presented in the form of a digital diary.
Through a series of carefully crafted social media posts each piece of writing is collaged with moody and delicate photography, paper texture, and collected elements from nature creating an overall thoughtful and ethereal mood.
The logo utilizes a font that gives a raw emotional feel as opposed to a more polished one. The treatment of the “i” references a pressed flower collection from nature, similar in essence to the writer’s collected experiences and lessons from life. The muted earthy colors are also inspired by foliage and flowers adding an overall feeling of calmness.
