Nobody knows if it's true, nobody knows if he really exists, but everybody knows the story.
If you searched the woods, deep into the woods, you'd find the Wizard, the Wizard who held the Keys.
To what, you ask?
Some say it unlocks the richest of treasures,
some say it unlocks the doors to a gold palace,
some believe it unlocks the power of your mind,
the courage in your heart,
some even fear they are the keys to Pandora's Box itself.
Nobody really knows,
or perhaps,
nobody is prepared to find out.
I like to try something new with every photo manipulation project I work on. Most of the time, I'm doing two things at once. For this, I wanted to use Cinema 4D to create useful elements, especially for situations where I can't find a stock for what I want.
Secondly, relighting. I messed around with lighting in "Dreams" and I had to pass it along to this one.
It was hard to accept that the keys i had modelled with detail would end up shrunk down and hidden behind glow and effects.
I approximated the camera angle and modelled everything in a separate file.
The scene is lit by a physical sky with sun pointing where I think the main light is in the original photograph. I guessed it was coming from behind him.
