D&AD New Blood Awards | The Body Shop

From the various different D&AD Award briefs I decided to choose one that was based around The Body Shop. The brief for this project was to "create a new visual language for their brand communications that reflects their pioneering spirit within the beauty industry and as a forward-thinking British brand". They wanted 4 product posters and 1 campaign poster. I researched into the company, its existing adverts and also looked into other poster campaigns and product advertisments to get an idea of what was already out there. I wanted to create a set of posters that were simple, elegant and eye catching. One of the key elements within the product posters was that i didnt want the actual product to be pictured on the poster, as I feel this is done alot and I wanted to do something different - something that might get people talking. 
For the campaign poster I decided to choose recycling as the main subject as it is something The Body Shop is passionate about and something that can be easily done by everyone.
